Friend, mana ada flat ride all the way to Taiping??

It was an awesome ride. First time I saw "strong" riders konked when ride ended and first time I did a pseudo-century ride(156km) after my last 15 years ago.

The road was virtually void of motorized vehicle and the weather was on our side except the last 17km before Taiping. Man, it was hot, hot, hot! Oh yeah, remember to bring some bananas next time we do it again. There were so many monkeys after Kubu Gajah. I wonder if we have entered into the kingdom of "Soon Mu Kong"(The monkey god in the Chinese myth, "Journey of the West"). Oh yeah, not to forget to mention the well paved tarmac along the way, nice!

Kulim Lee, you tricked me into believing that this is gonna be a "casual" ride. I'll remember that my friend.

Initially there were more than 10 riders. Threethem pulled out in the last minute. Two claimed to have stomach ache(what a coincidence eh??) and another one claimed his son kena virus(yeah family first. I am gonna kena this in three months time!). Hmm, next time I can use this stomach ache thing as an excuse to explain why can't I join the Sunday ride....

Again, an awesome ride. Next target: do a real century ride. Lenggung-Baling-Kulim? Sorry lah, I will have to give it a pass. Let me do more high cadence training first, then we will talk about it ok???

Next ride of the month: "two digit" ride around BM. Easy lah, no more than 100miles. It's definitely a ride for recreational ride. Sub-sub water one!
